"Since 1985, Quick Cobbler, a long time Vancouver-based shoe repair shop, has been turning old shoes – that are in good shape – into comfortable footwear for the less fortunate; and over the past few decades, the program has handed out more than 25,000 pairs of shoes, boots, etc. to the homeless, impoverished, and those in transition."
